Congratulations on your decision to explore study abroad. Making the decision to study abroad is an amazing opportunity to experience new and different cultures and countries. These are life changing experiences that will forever change your outlook on the world. Please be open to and embrace the study abroad experience!
| INQUIRY | Explore the program options through our program search. Learn more and request additional information by contacting Global Engagement, as needed. |
| APPLICATION | Submit an online application using the 'Apply Now' button on the page of your selected program. You may also need to submit a deposit as part of the application for some programs. Application is reviewed by the faculty or staff program leader/advisor. If accepted, you will receive an email with your acceptance notification and prompts for next steps. |
| PREPARATION | Apply for financial aid, if eligible. Pay program fee Submit additional required forms and materials, as prompted through your online application portal. These may include an Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization Form, Health Information Form and Release form, among other items. Research the country you are visiting with the Global Engagement Lib Guide. Attend any required orientation sessions. Apply for a travel visa at nearest consulate, if required Book airline ticket Complete Pre-Departure Orientation. Register for appropriate course and pay tuition and fees. |
